2021 Lexus RX350 Cabin Filter, Engine Air Filter & Wiper Replacement (Under $30)

A quick yearly maintenance combo on the 2021 RX350: cabin air filter, engine air filter, and wipers, all done in one sitting for well under $30 in parts.

Cabin air filter

1. Turn the car to the “on” position — it doesn’t need to be running.
2. Empty the glove box. Take everything out, then squeeze the sides of the glove box housing and pop the whole thing out.
3. Release the tabs behind it. With the glove box out, pull two small tabs to reveal the filter compartment.
4. Release the filter tray. Squeeze the right side of the tray and pull — two small tabs will release from their slot and the tray comes free.
5. Check the airflow arrow. The new filter has a directional arrow printed on it — make sure it points the same way as the old one before you slide it in.
6. Reinstall in reverse: tray back in, glove box tabs seated, then the glove box housing squeezed back into place.
